Colombian attacker is not now moving to the Premier League this summer.
Atletico de Madrid front man Radamel Falcao will remain with the La Liga outfit next season according to the player’s girlfriend, reports the Daily Mirror.
The Colombia international is one of world football’s most sought-after strikers due to his extraordinary record in front of goal for both FC Porto and his current employers, since he first moved to the Continent four years ago.
In that time, the 27-year-old attacker has found the back of the net 72 times in just 87 appearances for the Portuguese giants, while his goalscoring record since leaving the Dragao for the Spanish capital in 2011 is just as eye catching.
In two hugely-successful campaigns for Diego Simeone’s high-flying La Liga team, Falcao has managed to net an incredible 66 strikes in only 84 games.
And it is that kind of sensational form that has attracted the attentions of a whole host of big-name European clubs, including the likes of big-spending Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain, Premier League giants Manchester City and Manchester United and La Liga champions Real Madrid.
However, if Falcao’s partner is to be believed, the coveted centre forward will reject those teams in order to stay put in Madrid this summer after all.
