The Cleveland Browns once had a promising season as they held a 7-4 record, and they looked like they might be able to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2002.
Those dreams will not be coming true for the Browns though since they have lost four games in a row, and locker room drama is becoming apparent in Cleveland.
Wide receiver Josh Gordon was suspended for the regular-season finale due to missing the team’s Saturday walkthrough, and quarterback Johnny Manziel was fined for being late to his hamstring treatment.
Both players reportedly attended a party on Friday night that was thrown by Manziel, who had recently vowed to take football more seriously.
Cornerback Justin Gilbert will join them on the sidelines since he was late to a team meeting on Saturday night.
Adam Schefter of ESPN provided the news on Twitter.
Cleveland’s other 1st-RD pick, Justin Gilbert, was late for team meeting last night and is expected to be inactive today, per league source.
