Man United could revive interest in Juve star Arturo Vidal after new boss confirms his admiration…
Holland national team boss and Manchester United’s new manager Louis Van Gaal has hinted they he might take the plunge in the transfer market for 27-year old Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal. Stating that he is big admirer of the Chilean enforcer, Van Gaal said, “I always wanted to buy Vidal when he was at Bayer Leverkusen but he went to Juventus. I like a lot of Chile players and they always play an attacking style.”
Van Gaal has to contend with playing against Vidal when his team take on Chile at the World Cup, but Manchester United fans will most certainly be excited at the prospect of their team moving in for one of the most revered midfielders in Europe.
Vidal is rated at a whopping £41 million by Juve and although money does not seem to be a worry for United in conducting their transfer business this summer, the lack of Champions League football at the club next season is sure to deter their move for top players like Vidal.
Moreover, United will also face tough competition from a number of European heavyweights in Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea, who could present a more attractive option for the Chilean ace if he wishes to leave Italy.
