Pakistan
Shahid Afridi
Whilst the Indian side is bristling with emerging young talent, Pakistan are still relying on their veterans and as it continues to work there is no reason why not.
Afridi has endured some difficult periods in the last few years, but the 34-year-old looks back to his best with some devious spin bowling and ever improving batting.
Umar Akmal
Is now a mainstay in the Pakistani side and seems to have been around forever despite still only being 23-years-old.
This is because Akmal made his international debut aged 19 and since then has wowed everyone with aggressive batting – which saw the starlet score the second highest amount of runs at the recent Asia Cup with 253.
Mohammad Hafeez
Yet still the nation’s most influential player is their captain and perhaps the best all-rounder in the whole of T20 cricket.
The 33-year-old is currently the ICC No.1 in his position for both ODI and Twenty20s and can also show incredible consistency with his off-spin bowling.
