He signed with the Tennessee Titans before the 2014 season, but the team released him after 11 games before he was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts.
Phillips was a shell of his former self in 2014 as he only came up with two sacks and 24 tackles, and he made minimal impact for the Colts defense in the playoffs.
The Colts have released the 33-year-old linebacker, who has come up with 81.5 sacks and 532 tackles throughout his career.
