Rams Cardinals preview
The Arizona Cardinals are still clinging onto a 9-3 lead over the St. Louis Rams in the third quarter, and they continue to be unable to catch a break with injuries.
Quarterback Drew Stanton suffered a right knee injury, and he is being taken to the locker room on a stretcher. It is all but certain that he will not return to the game, and this could deeply affect the Cardinals’ playoff position.
Ryan Lindley has replaced Stanton at quarterback, and he is their current third-stringer. Stanton may join starter Carson Palmer on the injured reserve list if he is unable to recover quickly.
Here is a tweet from the official NFL on ESPN Twitter account reporting on Stanton’s injury.
