Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White has been battling an ankle injury all week, and he missed his team’s practices as a result. He was designated as questionable and considered to be a game-time decision.
The Falcons have officially ruled White out of their game against the Arizona Cardinals, but the Cardinals received an unlucky break of their own.
Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald sprained his MCL in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions, and he sat out in Week 12 and will do the same against the Falcons.
Fitzgerald was also a game-time decision, but the Cardinals will have to make do without him again.
Here is a tweet from NFL insider Jay Glazer updating on the receivers’ injuries.
