Bengals star WR A.J. Green was carted off the practice field after suffering an injury on Wednesday.
According to Geoff Hobson of the team’s official website, Green left the practice field on a golf cart, after apparently aggravating the toe injury that has bothered him throughout the year.
In four games played this year Green is averaging a career high 18.5 yards/reception and has two games with over 100 receiving yards. Green has only missed one game this year, but the injury has hampered him throughout the season.
Green is a 3-time Pro Bowler and together with QB Andy Dalton have taken the Cincinnati Bengals to three straight playoff appearances – their first such streak in franchise history.
