The Buffalo Bills already received bad enough luck as running back Fred Jackson was carted off the field with a groin injury, but C.J. Spiller joins his fellow running back on the list of injury casualties.
Spiller was reportedly in tears as he was carted off the field with a towel over his head. The injury to Spiller is a shoulder injury, and it appears to be serious judging by his mood.
This leaves the Bills’ running game as a shell of its former self as Anthony Dixon is the only active running back left on the Bills roster.
Here is a tweet from the NFL on ESPN Twitter account announcing this unfortunate news.
Both Bills running backs, Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller have been carted off the field today with injury.
