Arizona Cardinals QB Drew Stanton suffered a blow to the head during a loss to the Denver Broncos and has been unofficially diagnosed with a concussion.
Stanton led the Cardinals (3-1) to two straight wins prior to a shaky performance against the Broncos in which he started 11 of 26 for 118 yards before leaving the game with the injury.
With Stanton out for at least the next few days while he likely undergoes concussion treatment protocols, rookie QB Logan Thomas will take the reins at QB. Thomas, a 4th round pick out of Virginia Tech in the 2014 NFL draft, went 1 of 8 for 81 yards and a TD against the Broncos in relief for Stanton.
