Despite his claims to the contrary, Larry Fitzgerald is unlikely to suit up for the Arizona Cardinals this week for a key division matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported that the MCL sprain Fitzgerald suffered last week against the Detroit Lions, while not season ending, was not as easy to recover from as Fitzgerald and Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians made it out to be.
True. RT @nflnetwork: From @Rapsheet: “It would take a miracle” for Larry Fitzgerald to play. Currently a game-time decision.

Fitzgerald leads the Cardinals with 46 catches and 658 receiving yards this season. Michael Floyd and John Brown will likely start at receiver if he isn’t able to play.
Since being drafted No. 3 overall out of Pittsburgh in 2004, Fitzgerald has become one of the most iconic WRs in football with his incredible hands. Fitzgerald is also the Arizona Cardinals’ all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving TDs. He is an 8-time Pro Bowler, 3-time All-Pro selection and is 12th on the NFL’s all-time list of receiving TDs.
