Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga was seen limping on the field in the second quarter of the playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts.
He left the field before being carted off, and he is being taken to the locker room for further examination. It is being speculated that he aggravated a hamstring injury that he had sustained earlier in the season.
The Bengals defense has held strong thus far in the first half against a high-powered Colts offense, but they will have to resume without one of their starting linebackers.
Cincinnati Bengals website editor Geoff Hobson reported the injury on Twitter.
