Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green has been taken out of the game against the Atlanta Falcons with a toe injury, and he will not return to the game.
The Bengals are currently tied with the Falcons, 3-3, in the second quarter, and quarterback Andy Dalton has failed to move the chains without his star receiver.
It is currently unknown how serious this injury is expected to be, but losing Green for a significant period of time would be a blow to the Bengals offense.
Here are a couple of tweets from NFL Access confirming Green’s injury and departure from the game.
