The Cincinnati Bengals will most likely be without star WR A. J. Green for the Wildcard game against the Indianapolis Colts. Green was downgraded to doubtful for the Bengals’ playoff game.
Green did not practice Friday, per the team’s official website, after being on the field on a limited basis on Thursday. Green remains in concussion protocol and was scheduled to visit an independent neuropsychologist at some point today and was seen at practice in street clothes.
The last time the Bengals visited the Colts, they got crushed 27-0 in Week 7 without Green being active.
The Cincinnati Bengals have not worn a playoff game with either Green or QB Andy Dalton since the two of them entered the league in 2011. This will be the Bengals 4th consecutive playoff appearance.
Green recorded his fourth consecutive 1,000 yard receiving season despite setting career lows in yards and TDs while only playing 12 games.
