Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron left Sunday’s game against Oakland with a concussion after taking a shot to the back of the head by Raiders safety Brandian Ross. He will not return.
Cameron dove over the middle for a 21-yard gain midway through the second quarter but absorbed contact from behind by Ross, who got an unnecessary roughness penalty on the play. Cameron was slow to get up and looked dazed from the JumboTron shot at FirstEnergy Field.
Cameron finished the game with three catches for 40 yards. He has battled a shoulder injury he suffered early in the year and has 13 catches for 250 yards and one touchdown on the season.
Cameron was named to the Pro Bowl in 2013.
