Wes Welker injury – Broncos wide receiver day-to-day with back injury
Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman was the latest running back to suffer an injury as he left the Broncos’ game against the Oakland Raiders with a foot injury.
Head coach John Fox tried to downplay the injury by saying Hillman would be day-to-day, but the running back was expected to be out for about two weeks.
Hillman is expected to possibly miss six weeks though. Luckily, Montee Ball is returning from his groin injury, and C.J. Anderson looked promising against the Raiders. Plus, the Broncos offense can still thrive as long as Peyton Manning is their quarterback.
Here is a tweet from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter updating on Hillman’s foot.
Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman was expected to miss at least 2 weeks with foot injury, but it also could be as many as 6 weeks, per sources.
