The Detroit Lions defense breathed a sigh of relief earlier in the week when defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh had his suspension overturned.
Suh had stood on the injured leg of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but he was able to have his punishment reduced to a $70,000 fine.
Fellow defensive tackle Nick Fairley will not be playing in Sunday’s NFC Wild Card game against the Dallas Cowboys though since he has a knee injury that he’s been nursing since October.
Albert Breer of NFL Network reported on Fairley’s condition on Twitter.
Lions DT Nick Fairley is officially inactive.
