Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson suffered a leg injury after recording his only catch of the day on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
While he was able to walk off the field by himself, Johnson was noticeably in pain. He had been battling an ankle injury the past couple of weeks, and now things are getting worse for the Lions offense.
The star wide receiver is expected to miss a week or two has he nurses his leg injury. Luckily for the Lions, they now have a reliable wide receiver apart from Johnson in Golden Tate, who caught seven passes for 134 yards and a touchdown against the Bills.
Here is a tweet from the official Sports Illustrated Twitter account releasing the update on Johnson’s injury.
