Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been taken out of the game against the Indianapolis Colts with a leg injury, and he was carted off the field.
As a result, he has been replaced by third-string rookie Tom Savage since Ryan Mallett is already out for the season with a torn pectoral injury.
Fitzpatrick will not return to the game, and this injury may be serious enough to keep him out for the entire season.
Here is a tweet from the official Houston Texans Twitter account reporting on this unfortunate injury.
