Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson suffered a concussion on a helmet-to-helmet hit and is receiving medical attention.

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson took a brutal hit from Jacksonville Jaguars safety Telvin Smith, and he sustained a concussion as a result.
Smith was penalized with an unnecessary roughness penalty, and he has been knocked unconscious. The Texans are currently checking on him on the field.

Losing Johnson would be a significant blow to the Texans offense, but he is being taken to the locker room to be examined. Here is a tweet from the official Houston Texans Twitter account reporting on Johnson’s injury.
