According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Chiefs former All-Pro RB Jamaal Charles suffered a high ankle sprain against the Denver Broncos. The injury is not considered serious but the injury usually puts players out at least several weeks.
Charles was First-Team All-Pro for the Chiefs in 2013. He has an NFL record 5.6 yards/carry average over his career.
