The New England Patriots continued their momentum with a 37-22 win over the Buffalo Bills, but their victory was bittersweet as running back Stevan Ridley left the game with a knee injury that appeared to be serious.
The Patriots’ worst fears were confirmed when it was announced Ridley would be out for the season with a torn ACL and MCL.
Fortunately, the Patriots still have plenty of capable running backs remaining on their roster. Shane Vereen is expected to carry a bigger load with Ridley out, but rookie James White will likely see more action as well.
Here is a tweet from NFL Network national reporter Albert Breer confirming Ridley being out for the season.
