For the 2nd week in a row the Detroit Lions will be without perennial Pro Bowl/All-Pro WR Calvin Johnson, aka Megatron.
The Lions have put Johnson on the team’s inactive list for today’s home game against the New Orleans Saints. In addition, TEs Joseph Fauria and first-round draft pick Eric Ebron have also been deactivated for the game, leaving the team rather thin in the receiving corps against one of the best passing attacks in the league.
The Saints, meanwhile have activated their perennial Pro Bowler TE Jimmy Graham, who is back on the roster after dealing with a shoulder injury that was originally reported to put him on the shelf for several weeks, but apparently only made him miss 1.5 games.
Some good news for the Lions is that RB Reggie Bush is back after missing time with an injury of his own. He will start against the Saints.
