According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie WR Mike Evans will miss the next two to three weeks with a groin injury.
Evans caught four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in yesterday’s win at Pittsburgh, his best game of the season.
The Buccaneers drafted Evans No. 7 overall out of Texas A&M in the 2014 NFL draft. Evans was a monster for the Aggies, hauling in 12 TDs and 1,394 receiving yards from former Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel en route to an All-SEC and All-American selection.
Evans, along with former Aggies teammates Jake Matthews and Johnny Manziel, were all drafted in the first round of the 2014 draft.
