The Tennessee Titans have had quarterback problems throughout the season, but they may have found their future signal caller in rookie Zach Mettenberger.
However, Mettenberger injured his shoulder in a 36-7 loss to the New York Giants, and the team’s worst fears were confirmed as his MRI revealed that he has an AC joint separation.
This will keep him out for the rest of the season, and the Titans will move forward with Jake Locker as their starting quarterback.
Here is a tweet from NFL Network national reporter Ian Rapoport confirming Mettenberger’s injury status.
