Reports earlier this week claimed Jose Mourinho is hoping to bring Zanetti to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The 40-year-old has played for Inter for an astonishing 19 years since arriving at the San Siro in 1995 and has played 795 times for the Italian club.
Yet Zanetti’s current contract expires in the summer and he worked with Mourinho for two years in Milan.
But, despite admitting he admired Mourinho, the Argentine dismissed suggestions he could move to West London.
“Honestly, I have a great rapport with Mourinho,’ Zanetti told Inter Milan’s official website.
“We hear from each other frequently, but we’ve never discussed these things. I believe the Inter fans know how I feel about this shirt. I’ve always stressed that this club is my life and my home. And it’s my desire to stay here. I don’t need to add anything else.”
The right-back has previously said that he wants to stay with the Nerazzurri for life, even after he retires.
