Serie A giants interested in signing midfielder Lucas Leiva.
Serie A giants Inter Milan are planning to make a bid for Liverpool defensive midfielder Lucas Leiva within 24 hours, report the Mail, as Roberto Mancini looks to bring in some more impressive defensive players to compliment the eye-catching loan signing of Xherdan Shaqiri and Lukas Podolski.

Lucas has been a fairly regular feature in Brendan Rodgers’ first team during the course of the season, although perhaps not enough to satiate the Brazilian international – so a move to join up with Mancini at Inter could appeal.
With Liverpool already having to plan for a future without Steven Gerrard, however, it seems unlikely that manager Brendan Rodgers will sanction the departure of another long-serving midfield player.
