Most expensive player – Mitchell Johnson

While South African David Miller is currently the highest paid player on the Kings XI books, he was retained from last year’s side with Mitchell Johnson the most expensive player added at the 2014 auction.

Punjab paid 650 lakhs for the bowling all-rounder, and as outlined earlier, Johnson should be worth every cent given his current form at international level.
