Hidden gem – Chris Lynn
A right-hand batsman who plays for Queensland in the Australian domestic circuit, Lynn scored a match-saving century in only his second Sheffield Shield game when he was just 19. Since then, he has also gone on to play List A and Twenty20 games for his state side.
He had a mixed season in 2011-12. While he played a couple of useful innings in all three formats of the game, he couldn’t convert any of his knocks into big scores. Considered a big match player, he just played one match in IPL 2012.
Check out Lynn making 81 off 53 balls for the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League.
