Best bowler – Lasith Malinga
The 2011 Purple Cap winner is perhaps the best bowler Twenty20 cricket has ever seen, adapting his game and strange style to rip through big hitting batsmen.
It was a slightly quieter year than usual in 2013 for Malinga, but the Sri Lankan still managed to take 20 wickets and the 30-year-old is still one of the most feared bowlers in the shortest form of the game.
