3. Kevin Pietersen – England
While he might have missed last year’s tournament with a knee injury, Kevin Pietersen is set to be sought after by IPL owners, although he will be approached some level of apprehension from some teams.
His moniker as the most destructive English batsman of his generation has been somewhat glossed over after his well below -verage form with the bat for his country in Australia.
That combined with his problems with the leadership and team offcials might mean his passed over by some teams.
But his natural ability to belt an attack to all parts of the ground is still there, and he could still attract close to $750,000 US if one team is willing to take a punt on a player who still managed to score 305 runs in eight games in 2012.
