The England international has a small chance of being available to take on the Turkish giants in the Champions League on Wednesday, but will almost certainly declared fit for the vital Premier League encounter with the Blues on Sunday.
Wilshere had his injured ankle assessed on Monday morning and the diagnosis was that it was not as bad as first feared.
However, the same cannot be said for fellow midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who has been ruled out for at least a month with a hamstring injury and will miss both games this week as well as Wales’ Euro 2016 qualifiers in October.
A further blow was dealt when Mikel Arteta, who also went down during Arsenal’s clash with Tottenham, was given the news that his calf strain is likely to keep him out for three weeks.
