Arsenal midfielder will miss the club’s clash with Monaco on Tuesday night after he was unable to be included in training with the rest of his teammates on Monday, the Daily Express reports.

The club opted to hold him back from making a speedy return to the first team, and will instead allow him to focus on the longer term benefits of that he would gain from extra gym work.
It now means that the England international could now make his long awaited comeback in this weekend’s clash with Everton.
“Think it’s fair to say I am happy to be back,” Wishere said when he was first included in the squad to take on Monaco.
However, he has since been pulled from the side – which may come as a blessing in disguise if it allows him to come back and stay injury free for the remainder of the campaign.
