Milner has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield as under pressure manager Brendan Rodgers looks to bolster his midfield following the departure of long-serving captain Steven Gerrard.
According to The Guardian, Arsenal and AS Roma are also believed to be interested in the 29-year-old, but it seems Liverpool are the front runners t snare Milner’s signature when he becomes a free agent on July 1.

Ings & Milner are extremely hard workers. What they lack in talent will be made up in effort. I can live with that. That’s all we ask for.

replacing Gerrard with Milner is like replacing Suarez with Lambert

I’m so happy about signing Milner, City’s former best player (better than Aguero) he’s rejected them to join the biggest club in the world.

Milner had done well in all positions he has played in. He is coming from last seasons champions who wanted to keep him. #LFC

Milner’s wage at @LFC will reportedly be £150k-a-week. More than Alexis & Ozil (140k) supposedly reportedly earn at @Arsenal.

Milner is a boss signing of true! #LFC

It’s refreshing to see a player reject more money in favour of regular football. Milner will earn big at LFC but turned down more from City.

Danny Ings and James Milner would be excellent acquisitions as long as we brought another player in who will largely impact the first team.
