Speaking on Monday Night Football, the Kop legend surprisingly drops a number of big name players including Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge for the table topping, Champions League places clash and adds a few names you might not have expected.
See how his chosen side is set-up below:
GK: Simon Mignolet
It’s undeniable how big a turnaround the Belgian has had with his form, keeping a sixth successive clean sheet away from home against Swansea.
RCB: Emre Can
Over recent weeks and months he’s been a revelation at the back, struggled slightly against the Swans but you’d expect he’d be up for this one.
CB: Martin Skrtel
Skrtel’s battle in the middle with Wayne Rooney might decide the outcome of this one given the resurgent form of the England striker.
LCB: Mamadou Sakho
The return of the Frenchman is vital to Liverpool’s defensive solidity. He was understandably rusty against Swansea but should have built up enough confidence and fitness to play to his full potential against the likes of Angel Di Maria and Ander Herrer on the flanks.
