Hernandez had played on a loan contract with Real Madrid, but they have decided to move on without him as it was revealed that they declined to sign him to a long-term deal.
Due to Real Madrid not wanting him back, Hernandez now has his sights set on playing for Man United after not seeing much time on the field in Premier League matches.
He showed his superstar potential in his playing time with Real Madrid, as he scored seven goals in seven games started.
Hernandez expressed his optimism at receiving more opportunities in Old Trafford going forward.
“I think I will have chances to play at United. There will be a Champions League qualifier, a lot more games and I think that there will be more opportunities,” Hernandez said to Metro.
Radamel Falcao will no longer be with Man United after a disappointing season with them, which will also give Hernandez more chances to shine for the Red Devils.
