Hernandez has been reported to be targeted by Inter Milan, who finished in eighth place in the Serie A standings.
Hernandez was also with Real Madrid on a loan deal, and he spent most of his playing time with them and scored seven goals in La Liga matches.
The 27-year-old striker only started one game for Man United in the 2014-15 season.
He has shown much more potential as he scored at least 10 goals from the 2010-11 season to the 2012-13 season, including 13 in his first season with the Red Devils.
The Mirror reports that Inter Milan is prepared to put an £8m bid offer on the table for the striker popularly known as “Chicharito.”
Real Madrid is not expected to keep Hernandez around for the long term, so a transfer to Inter Milan seems inevitable for the underachieving striker.
