The future of Jese Rodriguez has been the subject of much speculation, with Liverpool and Chelsea having both been linked with the Real Madrid attacking midfielder.
However, the 22-year-old has insisted that at no point in the past few months has he considered leaving the Santiago Bernabeu:
“I’ve never wanted to leave,” as quoted by the Express.
“I’m very grateful to the coach for counting on me. He’s shown he has faith in me. I’ll try to make the most of every opportunity I get.
“Coming back midway through last season as I had to do and not play, then play was far more complicated. I feel better. The injury is well behind me and I feel great.
“I don’t mind where I play. I like all attacking positions so I can adapt easily.”

REVEALED: Chelsea name NEW vice-captain following Petr Cech’s Arsenal transfer

With speculation continuing to link Karim Benzema with Arsenal, perhaps the former Liverpool manager is assessing his options in attack with the Frenchman’s future unclear.
