John Terry has the Chelsea Blues off to a very fast start against Liverpool thanks to some impressive use of his head – mentally and physically.
They say the best offense is a great defense and Terry has used that mantra to become the highest scoring defender in Chelsea history. He reminded everyone in Stamford Bridge just five minutes into the match with Liverpool thanks to a perfectly placed header off a corner cross by Cesc Fàbregas.
With the cross heading into a crowd of Chelsea and Liverpool players, Terry decided to use one of the stupefied Liverpool players as a balance beam to give him a few extra inches of height and nail the header to take the lead.
What’s the over/under on number of people who will say “Now that’s using your head”?
