The world of UFC has been sent into meltdown with the news that Jon Jones has been stripped of his light heavyweight title and suspended indefinitely after he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run in Albuquerque.

UFC president Dana White made the announcement early on Wednesday morning (UK time) after he violated the athlete’s code of conduct policy.
“He’s very disappointed. He’s upset,” White told Fox Sports.
“He wanted to go down as one of the greats, or the greatest ever. He’s disappointed, but it is what it is. It was the decision we had to make.”
Jones was scheduled to face Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 next month, however he has now been replaced by third-ranked Daniel Cormier who will fight Johnson for the now-vacant title.
