Terry’s current deal expires at the end of the season, but his performances for the Blues have been impressive once again and Mourinho clearly wants to keep the 33-year-old at Stamford Bridge.
“It’s not time to speak about it, but he knows what I think and what I feel. I don’t need to talk about it with you,” the 51-year-old was quoted by the Sun.
Terry has been in fine form for the West Londoners once again in 2014/15, helping them to a current unbeaten record and top spot in the Premier League.
The centre-back has played every game in the league and the Champions League to date this campaign and despite his age the skipper remains an important part of Mourinho’s setup.
Terry came through the ranks in West London and broke into the first team back in 1998, going onto make 607 appearances since and winning three league titles, five FA Cups and the Champions League.
