Mourinho claims summer of spending is over.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has dismissed rumours that the Blues could be set to sign former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.
Juventus star Pogba, 21, has been linked with a £60m move to Stamford Bridge, but Mourinho claims that his squad is already complete.
Chelsea have added four players to the ranks since the end of last season.
Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic arrived from Hajduk for in fee in the region of £2.2m, while ex Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas joined in a £30m move from Barcelona.
The Blues have twice raided La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, bringing in striker Diego Costa and left-back Filipe Luis for a combined total of around £47m.
Chelsea have also been boosted by a number of returning loan stars, including defender Kurt Zouma and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Despite the transfer window being open for another six weeks, Mourinho is not planning to make any more purchases.
He is quoted by the London Evening Standard as saying: “I have to say my club did a fantastic job and not just because of what we bought but a fantastic job because we did it almost in record time.
“The market closes at August 31 and we close our market on July 19. We finished our market. The club did fantastic. We knew the targets, we knew the players.
“The club attacked them and their clubs at a very early stage. We got exactly what we need. The squad is a squad I like very much.”
