BVB coach blames himself after seeing red.
After seeing himself and his goalkeeper sent off during the 2-1 defeat to Napoli, Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has apologised for his moment of madness.
Goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Lorenzo Insigne were enough for Rafa Benitez’s side to inflict a first deafeat of the season on Dortmund.
After Wednesday’s loss in the Stadio San Paulo, the German boss admitted he was in the wrong after his dismissal.
“I made myself look like a monkey out there and that’s not on,” he told ZDF television. “I overstepped the mark and it was really pathetic of me.
“I’ve already apologised to the team, the referee and the fourth official. I got it wrong. I have to accept the blame for this red card, it was just stupid of me.”
