It’s been a strangely difficult and poor campaign for BVB who currently sit 37 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich, their supposed competition whilst they’ve fared no better on the continent with a weak performance in the last 16 of the Champions League that saw Juventus easily swat them aside.
But in stark contrast to earlier reports on the situation, Klopp has said he’s not tired, he’s not going on a sabbatical and even hinted that he’d be open to a move to England
With that in mind we look at five clubs who could potentially be in the running for the 47-year-old and where Klopp might turn up if he gets the chance next season.
Manchester City
Pellegrini certainly looks at the end of his tether after a quite terrible 2015 at Manchester City – and with Pep Guardiola likely unavailable until at least 2016, Klopp could be the perfect option.
His experience taking a side on a shoe-string budget to the Champions League budget men he will at least feature in City’s thinking and could be rather high on the wish-list now he’s available.
