Clubs yet to agree a transfer fee for the former France captain.
Juventus have reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, according to The Express.
The 33-year-old signed a new one-year contract at Old Trafford in late May, but his position as United’s first-choice left-back has since come under real threat following the arrival of £30m England teenager Luke Shaw from Southampton.
Despite claims that Evra has agreed to join Juve, the Serie A champions have not yet struck a deal with United regarding a transfer fee.
The Red Devils may be reluctant to allow Evra to leave, having recently sold back-up full-back Alex Buttner to Dynamo Moscow.
Evra is currently at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil with the France national team and his agent has apparently arrived in Rio to step up transfer talks.
France take on Germany in the quarter-finals of the World Cup this evening.
Evra has started three games at the tournament so far and he is likely to be in the first XI again tonight.
