Lamela has struggled to transfer his excellent form at Roma to the Premier League, and The Daily Mail reports that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino could be willing to sell the Argentine for the right price.
The 23-year-old could be headed back to the Serie A, with current champions Juventus believed to be interested in his services.
The former River Plate star has scored five goals this season, but hasn’t lived up to his £30m price tag that Tottenham spent on him using money from the transfer of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.
According to The Daily Mail, Juve boss Antonio Conte is looking for a creative midfielder to play in a more advanced role next season and Lamela certainly fits the bill.
Despite the criticism he has faced, Lamela has shown glimpses of his brilliance this season and it will be interesting to see if Pochettino buckles under pressure and sells his countrymen.
