Vidal linked with Old Trafford move.
Juventus are preparing themselves for a bid from Manchester United for Chilean World Cup star Arturo Vidal, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a sparkling season with Juve last term, scoring 19 goals from central midfield.
He is currently in Brazil at the FIFA World Cup, where his nation with face the hosts in round two on Saturday, after finishing second in Group B, ahead of Spain and Australia.
Once Chile’s World Cup campaign is over, Juve expect interest in Vidal to intensify.
United are thought to be among the favourites to sign the player, who is reportedly valued at £36m.
Vidal started his senior club career at Colo-Colo, before joining German side Bayer Leverkusen in 2007.
After four years with Leverkusen, he moved to Juve, where he has won three Serie A titles.
Vidal has three years left to run on his current contract in Turin.
