‘Old Lady’ have been tracking Portuguese for some time now.
Serie A champions Juventus look like resurrecting their long-standing interest in Manchester United midfield player Luis Nani at the end of the season, according to reports in the Daily Express.
The Portugal international has yet again been a bit-part player at Old Trafford this season as Sir Alex Ferguson’s men have cantered to a record-breaking 20th top-flight title, and 13th Premier League crown as well.
However, the 26-year-old wide man has featured in just 11 Premier League games for the Red Devils all campaign long, scoring only one goal and laying on three more goals for team-mates in the process.
And as a result, it appears as though the player’s days in the North West now appear numbered, with Nani’s current contract with the Premier League giants running until only next summer.
Consequently, Ferguson will aim to offload the winger when the transfer window reopens on 1 June rather than risk losing him for free 12 months later, with Juve hoping to bring Nani to Turin for next season for £13 million.
