Reveals that he would like to play for one of the best clubs in the world.
Manchester United’s marquee signing of Chilean ace Arturo Vidal could happen, reports the Metro.
The 27-year old Juventus star could be sold by the Bianconeri if a £40 million offer comes in for him, and the Red Devils are firmly on his case to strengthen their midfield.
Vidal has not committed about a move away from Turin yet, but he gave the Red Devils a signal of intent that he might leave the Italian giants. He was quoted saying in the Metro recently, “I’ve heard the rumors, but did not speak with anyone. I am enjoying the holidays and when I return to Italy I’ll see what happens. I am very calm but we would all like to play for one of the best teams in the world.”
United are believed to be working tirelessly to land Vidal despite no promise of Champions League football this season, and are offering him a massive £230,000 per week in wages to persuade him to make the switch.
The box to box midfielder would add plenty of value to United’s work-rate in midfield, and the Red Devils’ boss Louis Van Gaal has also admitted that he is a big fan of the ace midfielder.
