Claudio Marchisio is flattered by the interest shown in him by Manchester United.
Claudio Marchisio has given a subtle hint that he may be interested in a move to Old Trafford this summer, after admitting he felt ‘proud’ that Manchester United are showing an interest in him, according to Sky Sports.
The 27-year old midfielder was a big part of Juventus’ Serie A winning side this season, and his form has drawn the attention of new Red Devils boss David Moyes, who is looking to add a quality midfielder to his squad ahead of the new season.

The Italian has also drawn interest from big-spending Monaco, but has calmed talks of a move at this point, after telling reporters that he has not had any offers so far.
“There are things to be proud of, but I am not sure if they are true,” Marchisio told reporters.
“I have not heard from anyone at Manchester United or Monaco.
“When I talk with my club everything will become clearer.”
Marchisio has made over 170 appearances for his hometown club, and also has 34 caps for Italy. This international experience is reportedly what Moyes is looking for in his central midfield, particularly given the relative inexperience of the likes of Tom Cleverly and Phil Jones.
Marchisio is currently away on international duty with Italy at the Confederations Cup, and is unlikely to make a decision on his future until he returns to the country at the end of the month.
